Dr Simon Andrade MBBS (London), FRACGP
Dr Simon Andrade is a General Practitioner who qualified at Kings College Hospital, University of London in 1984. He completed Vocational Training in General Practice in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Simon has a special interest in men’s health, travel medicine, skin cancer checks and minor surgery.

Dr George Forgan-Smith MBBS, BSc, FRACGP
Dr George Forgan-Smith is a General Practitioner who trained at the University of Queensland in Brisbane graduating in 2003, and has worked at a number of practices including Byron Bay and Melbourne. He has worked extensively in sexual health and psychiatry.
Dr George has a specialist interest in gay men’s health, men’s health, and mental health. He is a trained S100 prescriber and is able to offer complete and comprehensive HIV Care including HIV testing, HIV treatment, and HIV prevention with PrEP – a single daily tablet that can reduce HIV risk by 99%.
When he is not working, Dr George enjoys his work as a health educator teaching doctors but also travelling internationally teaching. He is also a regular participant in Camp Quality as a doctor, companion and medical advisor.
Dr Rebecca Goodman MBBS (Hons), FRACGP, Dip Child Health
Dr Rebecca Goodman is a General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Sydney in 2000. Prior to completing her medical degree, Rebecca obtained a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology at the University of UNSW. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPs in 2008. Rebecca has worked in Sydney, Canberra, Tamworth & Warrnambool. She also worked in Singapore for 3 years prior to moving to Melbourne in 2006. Since then Rebecca has worked as a GP in Docklands and North Carlton.
Rebecca loves her job and enjoys all aspects of general practice. Her primary interests include women’s health, family planning, fertility, preventative medicine, psychological conditions & travel medicine. She particularly enjoys seeing children and has just completed the Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. When not at work, Rebecca is kept busy by her twin boys.
Dr Andrea Lung MBBS, FRACGP, CSCT, RACOG
Dr Andrea Lung is a General Practitioner who completed her medical training at Melbourne University in 1992. In 1995 she was awarded the CSCT from the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1997.
Andrea is a very experienced GP who worked at Ashwood Medical Group and then Victoria Harbour Medical Clinic from 1996 to 2007. Andrea worked in Double Bay in the Cooper Street Clinic run by Professor Kerryn Phelps from 2008 to joining us in 2012.
Her primary interests include Women’s Health, Fertility, Shared Ante Natal Care, Paediatrics, Preventative Medicine and minor procedures, including contraceptive device insertion and removal. Andrea is registered for Shared Antenatal Care with the Royal Women’s Hospital, Sunshine, the Mercy and Northern Hospitals. Since Andrea joined us she has proven to be a huge asset to our Practice and patients and she has a particular focus on quality healthcare.
Dr Amanda Nutting MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG
Dr Amanda Nutting is a General Practitioner who graduated from Monash University in 1983. She achieved her Diploma of Obstetrics in 1988 and her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1992. She has worked in general practice ever since, including some voluntary work whilst living in Asia. Amanda joined Collins Street Medical Centre in 2004 and has special interest in travel health, women’s health and enjoys doing shared obstetric care with local public hospitals, including the Royal Women’s Hospital.
Dr Coniela Sgroi MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG
Dr Coniela Sgroi is a General Practitioner who graduated from Monash University in 2001 and obtained her Fellowship in General Practice in 2008. Coniela has a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Coniela is qualified for shared obstetric care through The Royal Women’s Hospital and The Mercy Hospital for Women. She is also qualified to insert contraceptive device. Coniela is passionate about providing thorough care and working with her patients. She enjoys empowering them with knowledge and guiding them to achieve optimal health.
Dr Michael Taliercio General Practitioner
Dr Michael Taliercio is a British-trained General Practitioner, originally from the United States. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Malta, and thereafter undertook postgraduate rotations in Emergency Medicine, ENT, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr Taliercio also undertook several years of specialist Paediatrics training. He holds a Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), and is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK). Dr Taliercio has a special interest in sexual health and contraception, mental health and child health. He is trained in contraceptive implants including copper IUDs, and is an authorised s100 prescriber for HBV & HIV, and PreP. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, reading, and yoga.
Dr Lynette Skardoon General Practitioner
Dr Lynette Skardoon is an MBBS graduate from the University of Queensland with extensive experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatrics. Her passion for paediatrics was further enriched during her tenure at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Additionally, she has worked in the burns and plastics unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Dr Skardoon is also qualified in Underwater Medicine, specialising in diving and sports medicine. Her medical areas of special interest include travel vaccinations, dermatology, and women’s health.
After living and working in Sydney for the past few years following an initial locum appointment, Dr Skardoon has returned to Melbourne and is excited to join the Collins Street Medical Centre team.
